On the roof (inside) all the way to the rear I have 3 plastic things that swivel, anyone know what they are for?

They are for the three child seat tethers.

 

Ah never thought of that, was I suppose to get those with the FEH or do they come with seats?

They come in the FEH automatically... no seats. The FEH has what is known as the LATCH system... you'll also notice steel rings at the base of the back seat. Some people think you only hook to the rings but there is a tether for the top of the seat as well.

 

So are you saying I was suppose to get straps?

Yes, the LATCH straps come with the child safety seats not with the vehicle....provided you have a fairly recent model of safety seat.........

Yeah.... sorry I wasn't clear on that. You can use a standard seat in the FEH... the LATCH is just supposed to be easier to insert and a standard to prevent people from putting the seats in correctly. This way they would effectively be all the same.
