Got a P0301 Misfire code on 2009 FEH
I have a 2009 FEH with 147k miles - runs great, get over 30 mpg year around.
Got my first check engine light today - I passed a car on a two lane road at about 80 mph (don't normally drive over 70 mph), after passing the car I got the check engine light on the dash, so I pulled over and checked my FORScan app and found this code:
P0301:00-24 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
Status: DTC Maturing - Intermittent at Time of Request
Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC
Continued driving another 200 miles with no recurrence of this issue, engine continued to run smooth.
I'm assuming because it said "Malfunction Indicator is off" that is why I don't see the check engine light on the dash anymore?
Any ideas what may have caused this and what should be done to keep it from happening again?
Note: I had the spark plugs changed at 105k miles.

Sounds like ignition coil on that cylinder/plug. If it keeps up, check the coil. If the plugs were changed without doing the coil maybe that one's a little loose?
