2009 FEH P1000 Won't pass inspection
Hi All, I have a 2009 FEH that is giving a P1000 code that I haven't been able to go away. I've driven the car for about 1.5-2K miles since I had the hybrid battery die on me and I changed the regular battery and reset all the codes to get the car to start again. Since then I haven't been able to get the P1000 code to go away. I also took it to get my state inspection and it says O2 Sensor and Heated O2 not ready. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can fix this?
Thank you!!
Thank you!!

@SKeith: Easy! Walk in the park! Won't it resolve itself if he drives it for a week or so? That procedure is gnarly to say the least. I guess he has to go through the Ford Drive Cycle, but does everything have to be connected? Will running the Drive Cycle alone do the trick?

He's indicated he's driven the car 1.5-2K miles since reset. Some component of the drive cycle testing isn't being tripped with his regular driving.

I was able to get this to work. Had to mostly follow the drive cycle posted but it took about 2 attempts following this about 70% due to traffic and safety reasons I couldn't follow this 100%. Thanks for sharing.

Re: 2009 FEH P1000 Won't pass inspection
if i figure this right, the not ready state is the IM/monitors. i had that happen to me and i did not know they are an issue for state inspection.
i had just a couple of days before inspection removed and put in a different battery and the safety part passed but the inspector could not
do anything as far as the emissions are concerned. (this was on my kia sorento).
So the codes may all clear but the im monitors may still not be in a ready state;
Or have you already passed inspection?
