That was a great article. By teaching new drivers how to drive a hybrid vehicle places them in a sort of advantage. This being they don't have any of the bad habits we all had driving conventional vehicles.

As for the part about everyone remember the car they learned how to drive in, my DE car was a Chevy Citation.... (I know, enough said...)

One thing the article didn't mention is that bumper to bumper measurements, the FEH is actually a bit smaller/shorter than the Prius. I found that out by placing the 2 vehicles side by side.
The 07 Prius has an Overall height/width/length(inches) 58.7/67.9/175.0 with a wheelbase of 106.3 (http://www.toyota.com/prius/specs.html )
The 07 FEH has an Overall height/width/length(inches) 69.9/70.1/174.9 with a wheelbase of 103.2 (http://www.fordvehicles.com/suvs/esc...eatures/specs/ )
( I may have to double check my owner's manual when I get home.... for some reason the 05s - which I compared - seem different.)
