Door Sill Protector
Does anyone know of a source that has door sill protectors for a 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid or regular model? I can't seem to find one anywhere online and I am trying to keep from going with the auto-parts store trim-to-fit pieces.

Have you looked at the OEM sill protectors? I have them on my '07 FEH and they come in two versions, plastic or stainless steel. I got the SS and they look good to me. You can get them at any of the online sites that carry Ford OEM accessories. I think mine came from fordparts.com, but you can always go to the Mercury dealer for a look.

The Ford protectors has ESCAPE on them and there are no protectors on the www.mercuryaccessories.com website........

You could check if the scuff plate kit (that's what it's called in parts manuals) for the 05-07 model works. Otherwise there probably will be aftermarket ones that don't have Escape written on them.
