I installed a AVIC Z2 in my 05 FEH. I luv it so far, navigation is great, ipod interface even works with my iphone. Bluetooth built in, backup camera and XM satellite and NAV Traffic. Same here. I lost the Hybrid screens when I removed the factory NAV, but I have two SG II's so I don't miss them at all.

I actually had an Avic Z1 in my truck at one time, it was an awesome entertainment center but I sold it on ebay because Pioneers NAV units have a horrible routing engine....A $200 Garmin is better (The Avic411 site has tons of posts to that effect, but I unfortunately had not found that site before I bought that unit for almost $2000)

I think the Z2 has better routing from what I have read, way better than the stock, didnt even work since i bought the car. I am happy with it sofar.

 

Yes the Pioneer software has gotten better every year, I still do more of them than anything else.
