I've got a 2007 FEH and I probably average 26 mpg or slightly more. I'm in Texas and I'll run the A/C pretty much all the time. Also, I'm not overly picky about the gas I run so I'm sure I could do better.
26mpg sounds reasonable to me if you don't really work the mileage.
