With the 07's, the number of speakers depended on if you got the Hybrid Premium Package or not. For example, the stand-alone NAV option came with only 4 (or was it 5?) speakers, but the NAV system with the Premium Package came with 7. The MMH brochure, in the fine print, point this difference out.

In this thread, there is the added complication of the NAV system having been added by the dealer. We don't know, yet, if the dealer version has 4, 5, or 7 speakers, and even if this particular dealer ordered/installed all the speakers they were suppose to.

My dealer agreed to install the NAV system withe the audiophile (premium sound) system. They said it would be exactly like the factory NAV with premium sound. The car had the Audiophile (premium sound) system without NAV before they added the NAV. The NAV panel replaces the head unit of the non-nav Audiophile system.

It all works great. But, no manuals. Does anyone know how to use the calibrate feature. Speed cal is easy, but what about position and direction calibration?

I do have the Hybrid Premium Package with the Nav system, audiophile radio, heated leather seats, heated outside mirrors, etc.

Did you have the separate tweeters BEFORE the dealer installed the NAV system?

RB1, Will you tell us all where the tweeters on your 08 are located?

... The installer did nothing to the speaker system. The dealer says the tweeters are coaxial speakers mounted in the front doors.

I don't know -- I can't find them!

It's curious that the dealer says the hybrid only gets 5 speakers, not 7. The Mercury website tells me otherwise.

That's the mirror control. Do the non-hybrids have this in the same location?
