2008 Ford Escape Hybrid NOT starting

Default 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid NOT starting
I have owned this vehicle since new. It has been maintained better than the schedule in the owners manual. I went out to take the car down town and it would not start. The TRIANGLE W/ ! LIGHT is on. The car has just over 105,000 miles on it. Any Suggestions as to what may be wrong?
