2005-2008 Escape Hybrid & 2006-2008 Mariner Hybrid TSBs

OK -- so I learned how to search for PDFs today.

in case anyone's leather covered steering wheel is having troubles

I'm heading home now to try out my vehicle in the deepest snow it's seen so far !

Please, Lets not call these recalls or even "recalls" shall we? Its an annoying cosmetic issue and they've released a bulletin (TSB technical service bulletin) so that dealers can know the best way to fix it. Its not bad to post it... but having a bunch of "recall" threads on here gives the impression that the vehicle is unsafe or dangerous.

No big thing.... I am happy you posted it to share the information!! My old steering wheel (I believe) had the problem... I found a different work around. I accidentally rear ended someone causing my airbag to fire and them to replace the steeringwheel. It only cost me about $500 (deductable)
