Too bad I'll be out of town at that time. I won't be back until the new year.

5 MPG is the 2WD vs 4WD advantage, not 3 MPG.

The difference in "blended" driving, in all conditions is 3 MPG.
Just look at the "compare" tab in the database on this site.

There's old calc. rules ( used for 2005-2007 ) new calc rules ( 2008 ) and the engineering differences between the two.

Real world is the AWD gets 3 MPG less than the FWD, no matter which standard you choose. 3 MPG is 3 MPG.

How about January 5th? I'm free that day also.
