Default Quick Jump go Bye Bye?

Because of the rapid expansion of the site, I feel the need to make some changes in the header. I'd like to get rid of the cars image on the top left and perhaps replace it with a single, larger car that changes. On the right, I'd like to redesign the links and get rid of the Quick Jump dropdown. Are there any objections? I don't know if anyone even uses it.

I like the Quick_Jump, and use it to add gas tanks, but AFAIAC, not a big deal.

I am guessing you are trying to save bandwith ?

When I look at the category icons, I always imagine the color blocks that make up the nav bar, sitting on a piece of glass. I wonder if the GreenHybrid/the auto evolves logo could be put under the nav bar, skewed so that it looks as though the logo is at 90 degrees to the blocks; on (or under) the glass, as it were. If that looked good, you could get rid of the top header entirely.

Can the quick jump menu be changes to drop-down menus from the nav bar ?

No, nothing to do with bandwidth. It just takes up room that I'd like to use for something else

lol what the heck are you talking about with the glass?

Yes, it can.

No, I wasn't kidding. I see what you mean now, though. I haven't thought of that before, but I don't think I'll mess with it for now. Too much else to do

I for one would not miss the quick jump since I hardly every use it.

I like the idea of the revolving car in the upper left.

By revolving I meant there'd be a different car with each page load... not literally revolving.

I think thats a great idea because everytime a new hybrid comes out you don't have to edit the picture, you can just add the picture in the rotation.
