So I created a new post in the Prius forum: "Toyota to produce Prius in US by 2010". A few minutes later a pop said something about a post being moved. Other pop-ups got blocked, so I couldn't tell if that was my new post or the one I was looking at "Have you seen Subway ad" in Prius forum. Then I notice a private message from Bob Wilson, that is an automated message "don't respond" informing me that my new message was moved.

So my post contained only a quote and link, no comments. Did this prompt an automated move? Did Bob move it and the private message is automatically generated? If Bob (or someone else) moved it why? I am all for forum administrators just trying to understand why/were to post in the future.

 

Because it's news. You have a link to a news source and information from a news article, it goes in News and Journalism.

 

It was, by the way, exactly the type of Journalism quote we like to see. But rather than leave it buried in the Prius area, we encourage folks to share their news with the broader community. The same is true with news from the Ford, Honda, GM and Nissan hybrid forums although I'm not quite as circumspect at checking their content.

I'll try to make sure the reasons are clearer in the future when a posting needs to move. I'll especially want to include my thanks for you support.
