I have entered in two tanks into the GreenHybrid database for my 2008 HCH II. Yet my mileage is not displaying in the overall mileage "Compare" section of the website.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a flag I need to check to share my mileage?

Ahhhh Haaaa! I found my records under the OLD Honda Civic Hybrid database. Not the 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid II database.

There appears to be a bug -- when you create a new car, the 2008 HCH II is not an options, only the older versions.

GreenHybrid Webmasters -- any chance of fixing the bug?

 

Internet Brands is aware of the but and they plan to fix it during their redevelopment of the database. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait. Sorry for the problems.

I'm curious how there are so many entries displaying in the HCH II database -- even though the way the system currently is designed it is impossible to even classify a car as an HCH II?

As a fellow IT person, it seems like a pretty simple fix to add the correct HCH II to the dropdown list. But then again, I also understand as an IT person that these seemingly obvious or small problems can be a hassle to fix -- especially when outsourced (India???)

 

When I added the second-generation Civic a couple years ago, it worked fine. I believe that somehow in the updates since then, a typo of something similar has caused the bug. I'm doing all I can.

The Civic bug is on the list of things to fix in the recoding of the database currently in progress. Unfortunately I'm not involved in that project but Internet Brands/CarsDirect has informed me it is underway. Feel free to contact their staff here.
