On the screen "Add A New Hybrid Car" I noticed that model year 2008 is still not available as a choice. Also, the Mercury Mariner has not been updated to note both 2WD & 4WD choices (same as the FEH -- prior to the 2008 model year the MMH was only available in 4WD.) On that screen - under "Model" there is a note "Not Here ?" and when you click on that it takes you to a screen so you can send a message. I sent a message asking these same questions last Friday and I have not received an E-mail answer nor has the database been updated. What's the story?

The database looks to be out of synch, the 5-speed Insight bar shows if I click on the CVT Insight bar.

Sent a notice to administrator 2-3 weeks ago, no response.

Database is meaningless now, not maintained. I'm retracting all my data.

I'm sorry about this, hawk. You say you sent a message to an administrator. I'm sure it wasn't me, as I likely would have sent a response. At the very least, I would have forwarded it on to CarsDirect. How did you contact us?

I'm doing the best I can to get CD to help us resolve the database issues.

 

I noticed today that the Prius II is averaging 25 MPG in the compare bar in our database, with 956 mpg as the top user, .1 MPG as the bottom user, just below 5.2 MPG. The Prius II page shows a vehicle average of 47 MPG oddly enough.

 

I've noticed that same problem in the past, Rich -not just for the Prius II, but for a couple of other models as well, such as the Insight-MT and the Highlander hybrid and I wrote in about it, oh, maybe a month ago, but no one ever fixed it. I find that very irritating.

 

There seems to be two different Altima Hybrid databases.

The correct one is:

Folks have managed to get on one or the other.

 

I'm trying to log another tank for my Insight MT but I keep getting an "Invalid Distance" warning. I enter 101.2 MPG and 1254.2 miles like I have done 124 times before but now it doesn't work. Help please......Louis (sno779)
