In a fit of youthful optimism I removed my snow tires last weekend. Of course it's snowing hard now and I was a little worried about the snow covered roads as I left work. It does fine with the snow tires but I hadn't tested the Integrities in slick conditions. In the end it was a complete non-event. Traction control did its job well, limiting wheel slip without cutting power completely. The real thrill was heading up the big hill toward my apartment and encountering a Ford Explorer that couldn't hack it. I don't know what the problem was but he was all over the place and couldn't bite pavement. But the Prius just kept on going without a fuss, into my parking lot with 2" of unplowed snow, and ground its way up to my parking space. I like this thing.
