Time to start sweating
I say we start calling it "Prius Anorexia", the medical condition in which we starve our vehicles in order to get enough miles to the tank. That useless gas gauge made us do it!
I've got one bar left on the gauge and am at 350 miles and 49 mpg. At last fillup, I shot in 9.5 gallons by going as slowly as the car could take it. That means I should be able to go at least 475 miles without even using the remainding fuel I had last time. I expect my bar to begin blinking at about 375 miles and I'll be sweating every minute of it. Why does it seem so wrong when I know for a fact I can make it to 450 miles?
