Default Those Hybrid Things On The 06 Side Panels

they are located near the rear view mirrors. i have an 05 and they didn't come on mine so i asked how much for the ones that are on the 06 to get ordered for my car. 25ish a PIECE then they want 42 bucks to install them. Anyone know how to get them cheaper and how hard they are to install?

hello,
Those HYRBID logos on the side are definately nice to look at. I have them on my 06. I always see people in the stop lights staring at them. It's definately not necessary to have them, however, it's like an extra icing on a cake.

here is how I would justify buying them:

I say if you really want them, you really like them, and you can afford them. Then buy them!

good luck,
gj

If you decide to get them I made a template from my 06 Prius you can use as a guide to install them.

2004-2006 Side Marker / Emblem Template and Guide

I made this originally for my side marker installation. Its was originally based off of the location of the 06 side emblems but a few people wanted a template made for their badge less 04-05 Prius so they could install the side markers. You can use this for both the side markers and the emblems. Its not an exact location but it will get you darn close.

If you want to buy some used Camry Hybrid emblems, take a look at this thread

Maybe you can work out a deal?

When my new Camry arrives, the HYBRID side and rear badges will be the first thing that I permanently remove from the car. Are the Camry's HYBRID badges the same as on the Prius?
