Shaved door handles

Shaved door handles
I am looking at the 7 Channel Shaved Door Handle Controller Kit from www.Slickcar.com and was wondering if there is anything else that I would need to be able to pull this off.
I like the clean look of the shaved handles. I have also been looking at the Gullwing Conversion kits on E-Bay. Has anyone thought of doing this too?
After getting selling my 79 Thunderbird, I miss wrenching around on the car, and am "Jonesing" for a fix.

i Would imagine thats the only thing you need to shave ... take it to a local body shop they can fill in the holes .. and than repainting the doors..

What about the shark style antennae? I'd like to get this thing some old school looks with some 2000's flair! What do you think about those LED light bars??

Re: Shaved door handles
As for gull wing doors, the first step is to make a cardboard mock-up and remove one door. Using a temporary hinge, see what you think of the upward opening in a close space (aka., parking lot or garage.) Personally, I don't care for either side or top hinge doors because they 'invade my space.'
I'd prefer the doors to work like minivan, side doors: pop out and slide forward for the front and to the rear for the back doors. They would only extend out an extra 6" of clearance when open and slide along the body using rails on the bottom and telescoping slides on the top. Electrically operated with manual backup, they'd be awesome. Built from foam and carbon fiber, they'd be light and very strong.

Bob,
Your comments about "Invading my space" lead me towards another idea. Have you seen the "Scissors" door kits that will make your doors open on an upward hinge, like the standard Lamborghini’s have traditionally opened?

I am really leaning towards the Gullwing style doors. I like the looks and the Prius has the perfect body for the doors.
