There is a new recall (actually Limited Service Campaign AON) on the unreliable 2004-early2007 Prius electric inverter water pump (see attached).

Good news - a free replacement of this unreliable part with a redesigned version

Bad News - I Already replaced mine at 150,000 miles.

Good news - according to my dealer, after they do the recall I can submit my earlier receipt for the work and get it rebated.

I will wait a month or so so that the coolant refresh at 200,000 miles is paid for as part of the recall (at least for the inverter coolant loop).
