Just curious of your opinion on purchasing a 2001 Prius with 95K miles on it.

What should one be concerned about....if anything ?

I own a 2000 Prius with 40 000 miles on it. You can check if they have changed the Engine Control Unit on it, it was too weak on the early Prius I. Toyota replaced mine for free.

Otherwise, I don't know what to check. Mine runs like a clock, winter and summer.

What will you pay for it?

Guess what, it controls the engine! ;-)

This is not hybrid related, all modern ICE:s have ECU:s. The ECU controls fuel injection, valve timing and I'm sure millions of other things needed for the engine to run.
