Jenster, I also tried a broker in SoCal, and was able to get $100 off MSRP recently on a 2006. I know it's nothing compare to deals out in Virginia/MD, but in CA it's not bad. I ended up not using them because I opted for a 2007 (and no SoCal dealers have a 2007 to sell to the broker). If you find a good broker, they sure can save you a lot of time and gas money, and perhaps even $100 for floormats.

I think the lesson I've learned from this is that I am actually a negotiator at heart.
