Right - so what you mean is, perhaps MG2's bar would have 2 labels - RPM, and MPH, rather than having 2 separate bars. I think in terms of showing things as they are that makes sense, but for someone knowing nothing of the system and wanting to play with speed it might feel strange to also mess with MG2 to do it; if they simply see MG2 mimics the effective speed bar, then they might play with the speed without worry and learn that the speed and MG2's revolutions are directly tied together.
