I looked at a 2005 Prius today at a local dealer. It had no way to adjust the height of the seat that I could find, and the sales person confirmed that there is no way to do it - the only adjustment was the tilt of the back and moving the whole seat forward or back.

Could that possibly be true? I need to lower the seat because I am sitting much too high for my line-of-sight relative to the windshield. I am looking out the top few inches unless I slouch in the seat.

If this is true of 2005, would a model year other than 2005 have a height adjustment?

Edit: nevermind, I did a forum search (which I should have done before posting - sorry) and found that indeed there is no adjustment for height.

 

hi i have just been out in my new secound hand 05 prius and on the side jacked the seat up so yes their is adjustment i don't know weather that applies to all . drivers seat i have only just bought this and feel driveing is to take on new meaning yours mervyn
