Nah, a Phaeton is an overly-heavy Volkswagen Passat with major electrical defects. Not to mention the horrid expected resale according to Edmunds.com.

Autoweek must have some crazy lead-foot drivers.....they (and other automotive magazines) seem to always get horrid mileage out of their test cars. They also seem to get in accidents a lot.

I suppose that's what comes of letting people drive a vehicle they don't have to spend any money on for gas, repairs, etc.
