Hey everyone I need some help. I own a 2010 gen 3 prius. Recently there was a large snow storm in my area and my vehicle sat in the snow, as I had no other option living in an apartment complex. two days after the majority of the storm passed my girlfriend and I went out to move the snow & ice and to run our cars to melt the windshields and just to run them. Mine ran fine at first and turned on no problem. I was able to attempt to reverse and get unstuck of the snow, but the snow was too much so I left it running while my girlfriend and I got her car out. After about 20 mins of shoveling I go back to check my car and it had completely shut off. I go to push on the break and press the turn on button just for the break to be extremely heavy and for my check engine light to turn on. The little light on the push start would fluctuate from red to green, but the car would not start at all. I went to walmart to buy a code reader to see what was wrong, just for me to realize the code reader won't even work due to the ignition not even being able to turn on. The locks buttons on the key fob won't work and the lock buttons on the car itself won't work either. I am at a loss at the car won't turn on in anyway and I dont know what to do. If anyone has any ideas to experience I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks.
