Default Lucas oil Stabilizer

I always this product at a local Canadian tire, it's even got it's own demo where there are a set of gears lined up vertically with some oil at the bottom. There are two sides: one treated with lucas stabilizer and the other is not. when I crank up the gears, i see the oil that's treated with lucas stabilizer make its way up to top gear, while the untreated oil just sits at the bottom.

My question is, Is this snake oil?

i have done some searches around the internet and it's a 50/50 bag: one side swears by it, the other says it's snake oil.

Nevermind, The oil just foams up under load trapping air inside and causing damage.
