If any dealers out there have some #9 Prius, I'm looking to buy one

I have seen some package 9's available on Ebay at more than MSRP. We ordered on 7 Nov and got a call that ours would be in on 18 April if you are trying to get a feel for delivery times. Have fun, RIck

I might add here that posting that you seek a car and not posting your location is a counterproductive thing!

The mileage database indicates that flare is in Missouri.

Try some of the smaller dealerships in Illinois. I'm in Missouri too and I'm getting my Prius a LOT sooner than a year!!!

(I'm a little superstituous so I don't want to name the dealer until my car comes in ) With all the horror stories I hear about dealers price gauging at the last minute, I'd hate to refer you to a dealer and then find out they're one of 'bad guys'.

I called a LOT of dealers in Missouri - Columbia (Joe Machens) had a short wait list compared to KC and StL. Some of the others as well have a short wait list if you just are willing to drive a little

oh definately! i was going to get a prius from a dealer way out in michigan if he had any more unclaimed prius. i didn't know if he'd charge over MSRP though. But driving 2-3 hours to columbia and back sure beats driving 10 hours to michigan

I agree that you may have to drive'fly to get it, but it is possible.
I just received an email from a guy near Chicago who is attending our WI/IL gathering in Milwaukee. He said he is going out to Wyoming to pick up his #9 next week. He said it took him two weeks two find it, but I'm sure he'll be happy with it.

Hmmm. that would definitly make it more of a challenge.
The buyer going to Wyoming said the dealer is picking him up at the airport, which is 90 miles from the dealership! Now that salesman is really working for the sale.
