cold weather indicator light

cold weather indicator light

When the temp. gets below 37 degrees, the cold weather light comes on. It's cold almost all winter where I live. How do I disable the light?

Some have suggested "black tape" but not having one, I don't know.

The light is probably a "warning", as such.
