I was skimming through our 2001 Prius service manuals and found a description of a secret menu for diagnostics. It involves pressing two invisible buttons on a certain screen repeatedly. I haven't tried it out yet, but I wonder if there's anything like this for the 2004+ models?

Could you please describe the secret screen for the 2001 model, how to do it and what it does as well as any other tips or tricks for the Prius. I would really like to know how to get it to go into EV mode or at least trick the acceleration into thinking I am going only 12 mph and really go 30 and get it to stay in Electric Mode only (Same as EV mode I guess)
