2002 TOYOTA PRIUS NHW11R
hi all
i was looking at my local carsales internet site and stumbled upon the above car for sale.
i just like to know whether any of you still have the 2002 model Prius and if so what do you think of it?
i am in 2 mind whether to get a 2001 4 cyc Honda Accord petrol or the above as they both cost the same,
do you think i will have any problems with this vehicle?
my driving will be 20kms per day return urban trips 90% of the time and 10% out in the country.
rgds
ps the sellers details are here

When I bought the 2001 Prius new, I was also considering late-90s used Civics and Corollas. The latter would have cost much less to purchase, but I was strongly influenced by pollutant emissions. If this is an important factor for you, then the search for Australian info on pollution ratings must begin. I only know the sources of USA info.
There are specific internet groups for Australian hybrid drivers; I could mention those if desired. One important issue is going to be obtaining qualified service. You won't need it very often but when you do, it is not a good vehicle to "learn" upon.
