Does Washington Owe Toyota an Apology?
The more I think about this whole Toyota thing http://www.nhtsa.gov/PR/DOT-16-11, the more pissed off I get - and I don't even own a Toyota. After a year of trashing the company's cars, the government is just saying, "oops, my bad" and shrugging their shoulders http://thehill.com/homenews/house/14...-a-year-later-. This could have happened to any car company. I know they're big corporations, but WTF?
I know I can't be the only person who feels this way http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/your-w...toyota-apology, amirite?

pedal entrapment was the only logical cause they can find about the whole thing and it still would be a design flaw. the accelerator pedal is too close to the floor to cause the entrapment easily.
The media got ahold of the story and inflated it like a blow-up doll they can have %$# with. I think Toyota should be given compensation by the american media(hello Murdoch) and not the government. It was a privately made smear campaign anyways, and I'm sure the boys at GM and all the other car companies were loving it up while it was happening.
and so with the public shopping for lexuses and toyotas were having a buyers market
