Hey guys,

Was wondering if any of the Highlander Hybrid owners did Grill block on their cars.
I have 2008 Model and the grill is more of mesh so the pipe insulator does not work well. How did you guys do it and did you get results?
I am up in New York and it gets very cold here.

 

I am driving with engine top completely covered in wall insulation and air intake directed so that it grabs only warm air.
I do not believe you can actually fully insulate the engine without solid belly pans or full blown insulator blanket wrapped around it.
I feel, on one hand, great respect to all the effort you do to increase mpg but on the other hand - feel sorry you spend so much effort onto this.
