This is so hard to figure out since I don't actually have the car yet!

thanks for any info..
If you look at the site it uses the Navigation interface and controls and shows up on the NAV screen as SAT. Everything else, receiver, is hid in the back Qtr. panel. I sent them a note and the antenna is mounted on the rear roof and cable run inside and out of sight. The good news is it's an actual Toyota receiver I'm told. One person installed it them selves using the supplied DVD instructions, or for $100 more, if your close to NJ, they will install for you.

Click on the first link I supplied then on the Green Highlander XM button, it will show you how it will look.

I sent an email to the company with some other questions I had, and got a quick and helpful reply back. Now if I can find an installer in my area, I'll be set! Thanks for your help!

Check to see if you have any stereo installers locally, they should be able to do it.

Maybe even your Toyota dealer or their body shop.... but that would surely give you sticker shock

Thumbs up Re: Factory Interacive xm radio instalation for highlander hybrid

Well, I recently completed my Factory Interactive XM installation. I must admit to being apprehensive, but it went fairly smooth. I did more damage lowering the garage door onto my back bumper than the entire XM install.

The DVD that comes with the kit was great. Used a portable player out in the car and followed along. The only real disappointment is the short TEXT display. My Roady displays more characters!

All things considered a great add-on.

Hello Adam,

My heart sunk when I read your post. I hope the damage can be easily corrected. I backed a car into a brick column once and was p!ss'd at myself for quite a while. A much bigger dent, created by a 40 MPH impact concealed it completely some time later. We're probably drinking sodas out of it now...

Anyhow, Good luck and enjoy the XM!

You can email me directly at jon@factoryinteractive.com or call me (toll-free) at 866-DVD-KITS

Thanks,
-Jon
