I, too, am interested in the Lexus 400 hybrid. I can't find information on the base model vs. the options - that is, the salesman said all the bells and whistles come with the base model - but I don't want all of that. Does anyone know if you can buy just the basic model, and choose 1 or 2 options?

 

Go to leuxus.com. They have a page that tells you what is base and what is optional. Also edmonds. com has the same information.

Note that Lexus' rarely exist without lots of options. Dealers just don't order them that way.

 

Yes you can. Unfortunately though it will be badged as a Toyota Highlander and not a Lexus.

Lexus doesn't generally have a lot of options. Their "base" models generally are pretty loaded. Most people looking at a Luxury brand aren't interested in base models.
