Backdated Sale Date / Warranty Impact
Hi,
We recently purchased a new HiHy and noticed after the fact that the pre-printed date on all our forms was back dated by 9 days. I called the dealer the next day and made them reprint the sales order with the correct date, and they assured me they would put it into the system with the "real" date. However, I just checked with my service department about the expiration date on my warranty, and they have the earlier date on record.
Now, I know it's only 9 days, but with things always breaking 2 days after the warranty expires, it could be a big impact.
Has anybody successfully had this fixed? What did you have to do??
Thanks very much for your assistance,
Birgit
