I just purchased a scan gauge 2 for my 06 HiHy. When I hook it up it just keeps saying "Connecting..." When I hooked it up to my 02 Tacoma, it connected immediately. Has anyone successfully installed a scan guage on their highlander hybrid? if so, what am I doing wrong?

 

If you are talking about an OBD-II code reader, you will need a reader that is compatible with the Toyota CAN.

 

Contact Scanguage directly. They can walk you through any issues. My SGII worked as soon as I plugged it into my 2006 HH.

 

They sent me a new one, it works great!!!
