2006 Highlander MPG Read Out?
We just bought a 2006 Highlander Hybrid, and I can't seem to find a readout of the MPG of the trip / life of the car. I don't have the navigation package, just the little display on the dash. Do I just calculate it the old fashion way?
I just bought a 2007 with navi, but it still has the dash display as well. There are two different ***** that change the display information. One is in the gauge to the left of the center display. Pushing this one will toggle through the bottom part of the display. It shows the odometer, Trip A, and Trip B. The other **** is next to the display. Pressing it toggles through the top part of the display. This displays such things as the average fuel economy, the outside temp, instantaneous fuel economy, an energy diagram, and maybe something else.
I hope this helps.

That really sucks. I'm still disappointed that I cannot track the fuel economy of two trips at the same time. I like to track tanks and daily commutes. I guess your only option would be to buy a scangauge.
that does suck. part of the fun of a hybrid is to track your fuel economy. This is probably way too expensive, but if you retrofit it with the Navigation screen, do you think you'd get all the energy information too?
