07 HiHY VSC on after brake pad swap

07 HiHY VSC on after brake pad swap
Hi guys, im loving my HiHY and im averaging 30+ on the highway in the mountains lol.
But i did my first brake swap today and the VSC errors came on. Ive done alot of research and tried all the answers ive found on here and toyota nation.
The only one i havent tried is the jump method because it said not to on the HiHY. Do i really have to spend the 100 bucks to have the dealer turn it off?
Kinda letdown, ive always done all my own maintenance and this is such a simple procedure.
