Yokohama Avid Envigor 95V tires?

Re: Yokohama Avid Envigor 95V tires?
Good question. I remember a guy on here tried a Yomohama and said his car accelerated a lot better than the stock tires he had. However, I am not sure if they were Avid Envigor tires.
I was thinking about replacing my current set of tires (Michelin) with Yomohama at the end of summer. I got 56K miles with my first set of Michelin, and the current Michelin tires look like they have 10-20k miles left.

Yes, someone did replace his tires with the Yokohamas. I am trying to get further feed back on them, hopefully he will see this and chime in again. These tires look promising, I am curious if there was a loss in mpg in the switch. I have 68,000 on my current Michelins that came on the car.

I replaced the factory Michelins on my 2007 TCH at 89000 miles with AVIDEnvigors. I now have 94000 miles on the car and the Yokohamas are very good. I didn't see any difference in mileage but did see a great improvement in wet road stability over the Michelins. I highly recommend them.

I have 60K on my Michelins and they still have 5/32" inch of tread left.
Thanks for the feedback on the Yoko's. They are wearing well also? I am definately looking for better wet traction, etc. on my next set of tires.
I use dedicated snow tires for the winter.

Re: Yokohama Avid Envigor 95V tires?
I just replaced my OEM michelins with Nokian eNTYRE. These tires are rated at 99V XL and has 80,000 mile treadwear ratings and cost less than any comparable tires. They are great at wet weather conditions as the treadblocks are designed to expel water and have low rolling resistance. The eNTYRE are designed for North American market and jus came out recently. Stay tune for more feedback.
