Default Wiper Problem

Has anyone experienced a problem with the passenger side wiper not cleaning well since the weather has gotten cold and snowy? It seems like it will clean better when the weather is warmer?
Will the dealer replace wipers ? My TCH is 6 months old and 5800 miles?

I have not noticed that, but the last two days have been the coldest of the winter so far. I will keep an eye on it and see.

IMO, the Camry has the worst OEM wipers I have ever owned - at least based on how well they perform in the winter. I'm thinking about trying a pair of the "frameless" winter wipers. Does anyone here have any experience with them?

Are you talking about when it snows or when it rains? Or both?

I have no problem with how they perform in rain. It's in the winter with snow and ice. The frames load up with ice worse than any wiper blade I have ever owned.

YMMV

Thanks...that's good to know. Fortunately we don't get a lot of snow here but I'll know what to expect.

I'm a little disapointed in the wipers.

My passenger side wiper does curl up sometimes in the cold and missed much of the glass cause it isn't contacting in the middle section. Very disappointing for new wipers and blades. I was thinking of mentioning it.

I also don't love the wipers for a small pet peeve, when I use the wiper to clean the glass for a sweep or two the driver's side wiper often throws some of the liquid on to the passenger's side, so it's difficult to get a perfectly clean, glass. I often have to let it sweep more times than often to get all the liquid off the glass without having some thrown onto the passenger's side by the driver's wiper. It's a peeve, but I've never had a wiper act this way before. I also wish that they wouldn't include 1 or 2 more speeds for the intermittent wiper setting. I believe most would agree with that.

Let us know what size/brand/model you end up with. I'm wanting some of the "frameless" type.

Thumbs up Re: Wiper Problem

Just got home with some "Winter Wiper Blades" ...the brand is ANCO....the sizes are as follows...24" for the drivers side and 20" for the passenger side....installed in minutes.... will see how this improves the problem I had on the passenger side....should do the trick...I have used this type and brand before for many years...they are the best....paid $7.99 per blade on sale
