I got mine on 5/25, two weeks ago today. Have 750 miles on it now. First tank got 37 MPG, calculated (525.5 mi and 14.2 gal, topped off). The tank ave read 35.7 mpg. Ave readout on second tank is 37.5-38.

Mine is titanium silver, base with moonroof.

I'm curious because I live in small town West Virginia and bought off a small dealer (who was as surprised as I was when it came). It seems like most people on the forums are just getting theirs or are still waiting and I would have thought the Left Coast folks would have gotten theirs long before my area.

I believe Brent is the earliest so far. I would have thought there were more on the left coast that would have been early May.

Hope all of you track your milage in the database (with tank info, not gage readings)

I think I got lucky... The dealership left a message on my home phone the day before saying that they had just received two hybrids on the lot.

But silly me, I didn't bother to check my messages until the next evening. When I did, I called them back and to my surprise, both were still there.

So I told them that I'd be right over. The distance between Palmdale and North Hollywood is about 50 miles so it took about an hour to reach the dealership.

Both had the same options: leather seats, moonroof, no nav system. Since I already had a silver car, I skipped on the Titanium.

It would've been nice to have nav, but I wasn't sure how much longer I'd have to wait. I was still waitlisted at two other dealerships in the area.

OK, rseynaev, we'll count you even though you probably cheated and got your's off the boat. I'm curious also is there a way to tell if the VIN's are spread out.

I'm on vacation right now but my VIN is something like 00005XX

I assume then that there are 500 before mine? Also since I'm in West Virginia, would mine come in on the west coast and get here by rail? How would you track this?

The Port of Portland (just across the river) is a Toyota's Port of Entry .

The call came on 5/2 PM that one came in unexpectedly - I purchased it on 5/3!

Just finished tank #2: 39 MPG - wow! Tank #1 was 38.8.

I am the proud owner of 002937, a Taurus (horoscopically-speaking) delivered in Long Beach.
