Boston area, got mine 6/17/06. That must make me one of the old-timers? But definitely still learning! When I got mine it was pretty rare to see 07 Camrys of _any_ type, forget about TCH. But calling around to every dealer in my area (my car was almost dead and I needed a new one fast!), getting told "2-3 months", "6-8 weeks", and so on from various dealers, I finally found one who said "we have one that's coming in sometime in the next week, another during the week after that, and another the week after that." The first one available was almost exactly what I was hoping to get, plus moonroof--which I decided was worth a) a little splurging and b) saving myself 1-2 weeks for the same color without the moonroof. Put down a deposit so I could at least _try_ it, it came in that Saturday (I called on Tuesday) and I drove it off the lot. Over a year and I still love it! Working on a tank now with 45+ mpg, after a week's commuting--way higher than my old high tank!

And reading here I still find great tips!

(Still wish my TCH had an "EV mode" button, but... )

Wouldn't it be neat if you could look up the average MPG per region to see how your neighbors are doing with the same weather/terrain conditions? Maybe in the future...
