It seems to me that "ken " from Japan posted awhile ago that there is an international "standard" that dictates what margin of error the speedos are allowed to have, and in which direction from accurate. (read to mean that they are allowed to read higher than actual road speed, but not allowed to read lowewr than road speed) So, based on that info, i agree that Toyota has built-in a cushion of error, but they did it beacuse they are complying with the stated internatonal "standard"

"International Standard"? Now THATS an oxymoron.

24. I would rather wash the inside of the front windshield 10 times than the inside of the back window just once.

25. My Bridgestone tires should last 40-50K miles.

26. The rear wheels get way more brake dust than the front wheels, even though I rarely drive in reverse.

27. I miss having a coin holder.

28. I must be getting old, because I never open my sunroof. Not even the sun shade.

29. The ash gray floor mats are not getting at all dirty looking, contrary to my initial concern.

30. I don't wash the TCH as often as my previous cars, because it's just too big and I can barely reach the center of the roof, even though I'm 5'9.

31. 44/42 PSI are the right tire pressures. Everyone else is wrong. (Kidding, relax!)

32. Adding a self-adhering cut-to-fit felt pad (Home Depot) to your center console sliding tray will keep gum and TicTacs from rattling, especially around corners.

33. I still secretly yearn for a Civic II hybrid, for no logical reason.

Isn't that what that little sliding drawer is for just to the left of the steering wheel? At least that is what I use it for.

To me, that's just a tiny drawer. When I tried putting quarters in there for parking meters, they rattled around. A real coin holder should HOLD coins!

LOL, I agree. I have washed the inside of the back window once and I couldn't reach the bottom. Major pain in the butt. I need to wash it soon, any suggestions/tips?

Suggestion: Do NOT use a power washer.
