I turned in my 2004 BMW X5 (leased) and purchased my 2007 Black TCH. I just turned 20,000 miles over the weekend. I fuel up about 2 times a month and smile when I am at the pump.

I love BMWs, but the price of gas just made better sense.

Inspired to purchase a Toyota as my mom (currently owns a Rav4) had 3 camrys and I liked how they drive.

:-) Best features are the push button start and the variable transmission. I love sneaking up on people in parking lots when I am in "stealth" mode. The look on their faces - cracks me up!

 

Forgive the reversal - I just traded my 2007 TCH in for a 2010 Camaro 2LT RS - I know, I feel bad though the Camaro V6 EPA estimate highway is 29mpg and yes, i know the average will be well below the 37mpg my TCH provided...

FYI - at 41,000 miles Galves' trade-in value of the '07 TCH with moon roof, leather and navigation was $15,450 - which is what the Chevy Dealer and I ultimately agreed on...

Sorry friends - I'll miss my TCH while enjoying the Camaro...

 

First off, let me say this is our first Hybrid car and my first post!!!
We traded in a 2006 Jeep Commander getting around 15 MPG for a new 09 Toyota Camry. The Jeep's tranmission was screwing up and the dealer had no idea what was going on. So far we have put around 600 miles on the car, and just started on our second tank. We are loving the car and hope that Toyota has build these new Hybrid's with the same quailty they built all their previous cars/trucks.

Traded 2005 Lexus RX330 on a 2009 Camry Hybrid. Didn't want another SUV. The other contenders were an Avalon Limited or an Infiniti G37X. Decided to go with smooth, comfortable, quiet, and economical versus the more luxrious Avalon or the sporty G37X.

 

Traded a 2004 Nissan Murano SL!! Tranny died after only 68k and got the worst customer service from the stealer and Nissan! Will never buy a Nissan again!

 

Traded a 2001 Toyota Avalon with 140K. Only one set of front brake pads, orig. exhaust and other than normal service, never in the shop. The 2009 CAMRY TCH is our 7th Toyota. Currently have a 2007 Tundra as well. Until Toyota screws up and I start having problems, I will always buy Toyota cars. So far love the TCH, averaging 38 mpg over 4100 miles since purchase June. About 50% city, 50% Hwy.

 

Said goodbye to my 06 HCH II after almost a year of runaround from Honda regarding problems with the hybrid system and hello to my 07 Camry with only 12,500 miles in like new condition. One week and 300 miles later I am totally thrilled with the Camry in every way!

 

Nothing. I did sell privately a 2000 Avalon, at about that same time. The Avalon was my primary transportation for four years, until I bought a 2004 Tundra. Then the Tundra was the alpha-car, until I bought the TCH and sold the Avalon.

It's good to have a big truck for when it's needed. It's not good to drive it around town with nothing in the back. ;-)

Wife wanted Camry #3,son wanted her '05 SE.
Wife wanted a TCH for that rush hour commute.
I had another Tundra didn't need two trucks.
