Just for the record. Toyota still makes TCH's in Japan for the US market. Mine is a 2009 and was made in Japan.

I just moved from Jacksonville to Springfield at the first of the year. I still work in Jacksonville though, so I'm driving a bunch. Like you said, flat roads, SHOULD be able to get good mpg. I am betting that LA is quite a change from central Illinois!
