Default VDIM on the TCH?

I don't see where in the manual or on the specs the TCH has VDIM, or even TRAC or VSC. I see them (TRAC and VSC) listed only as options on the CE, LE, SE and XLE.

Also, the window sticker didn't say anything about VDIM or TRAC or VSC. Can someone explain? (in addition to me verifying this when I get home).

Stability and traction control are part of the standard base equipment in the TCH. It's on every electronic "sticker" I've seen.

There have been 2 or 3 good postings about VDIM over the past few weeks. If you use the forum search tool you should be able to find them. There are links to some good web sites to explaining the tech involved.

Simply put however, TRAC and VSC are component systems of VDIM. The reason you don't see VDIM on non-hybrids (yet anyway) is that electrical steering is also a component of VDIM.

I know the ins and outs of VDIM, and I read those threads (hence my question). People with Escapes and Civics were posting and I thought maybe an RX400h person posted about VDIM.

I have looked a little more and found it under Specifications on Toyota's web site.
