Default useless middle back headrest ???

Hi,

i know the title is strong, but i have a pb with the rear middle headrest..

from time to time a adult need to use the rear middle seat,
( 2 kids each side ) , and i realised that the headrest does not stay up, there is not mark like the side or front headrest to get different positions..

what to do?

use a grinder and make my own mark ???

I don't.
Contact the dealer and see what they say.

I have not tested my middle seat headrest.

The headrest is a safety feature, if it won't stay up...then the dealer should fix it ASAP.

TTT , I'm thinking of removing the middle rear headrest , has anyone tried this and is there a trick or procedure ?

I don't care about losing the safety of the back middle headrest , I'm trying to gain more airflow to the battery cooling intake/vent (especially from the rear a/c outlets/vents) ...

Since the back seat middle headrest was not likely to be needed and it partially blocked my rear view in the mirror it went into the trunk within days of the purchase, '01, and remains there today.

You're forcing an adult to set in the middle with virtually no legroom in favor of each kid having a window seat..?

Boy, are your priorities screwed up...!!

Erm...have you ever heard of car seats for kids?

They're sort of mandatory in most civilized parts of the world these days.
