I need to get a replacement key FOB. I saw on an old thread that there is some speculation that once a key FOB is programmed it can not be reprogrammed for another car. Does anyone know if this accurate? Used key FOB's are MUCH cheaper, even if you include paying to reprogram it. So are they actually reprogrammable?

Since the dealer is (hopefully) the only one who could reprogram it, I'd say your best shot is to call and ask them.
