You could try the Customer Assistance Center "Toyota in the Sky" number I suppose:
(800) 331 – 4331
If you consider it a hazard to driving maybe the NHTSA would want to know:

Thanks for the tip.

I've been having the same issues myself with roads/addresses/businesses not being identified on the DVD (I even gave it some latitude by only concentrating on omissions of established landmarks, not newly constructed ones). Not surprisingly, I've had little or no issues with my local area, which is located about 2 miles from Toyota's North American headquarters. I just called the toll free Toyota number you listed, which I think is routed to a on-site call center at Toyota in Torrance. I spoke with a young lady who advised me that (more than likely) a new disc would be available this fall, and to contact the dealer I bought the car about availability. Longo Toyota prides itself on it's stellar customer relations, so I'm going to see if I can get one gratis (no way I'm plunking down extra $$). I'm not banking on any recall/class action suits to remedy the situation. I'll keep you informed....

Sorry, my "I don't think so" meant "I don't think I'll be bothering to update at that price", not "I don't think that price is correct". I have no problem believing Toyota would ask for $250 for a map update.
